Research in the MMBL
The over arching theme of my research program is the investigation of how microbes synthesize and interact with biomaterials. Understanding the mechanisms that drive biosynthesis and degradation of biomaterials has wide reaching implications and applications in diverse fields such as medicine, agriculture and material science.
